Rodney’s day
He started counting at 400+ days. Eventually he was within a year of the event, and then 200, 100, 50 days…and finally counting in single-digit numbers. In a world where we’re used to going out and buying what we want, that was a long time to wait. Longer than a kid counting down to Christmas.
Where he lives in the UK, it was necessary to wait that long. The framework for what he was waiting for wasn’t ready last year, last month, or yesterday.
Today I received this email from him:
UPDATE!!!!!
IT’S ON!!!!!
It came on about 2 minutes ago and I’m just switching everything over to use it so this should be the first email to go out over my ADSL.
